Indoor fun abounds in Watertown

While most 1000 Islands attractions cool off in the winter, the fun heats up for the Sci-Tech Center’s busy season.
The Sci-Tech Center has dozens of interactive educational displays aimed at children but fun for the whole family. The center, 154 Stone St., has expanded hours during the winter, particularly coinciding with mid-winter school breaks and holiday Mondays.
Just around the corner at 122 Court St. is Watertown’s seven-day-a-week fun center: Velocity!
Velocity has a two-level climbing gym, a full arcade of video games and lazer tag! Velocity also hosts birthday parties and gatherings. Everything is right on-site, with its full-service restaurant of fun food!
