The 1000 Islands International Tourism Council—the office that produces this annual travel guide—has served the tourism promotion industry of the 1000 Islands region since 1956. From the beginning, the TI Council has been an international partnership between Canadian and U.S. interests, dedicated to promoting the 1000 Islands as a bi-national, four-season destination through creative and cooperative programming.
