Brockville
Above
or below the waters of the St. Lawrence River, a voyage of
discovery awaits you. Scuba enthusiasts can explore any of
approximately 200 shipwrecks—some of the world’s
best freshwater diving! Paddle enthusiasts can kayak or canoe
secluded inlets. 1000 Islands and Seaway Cruises depart several
times daily from Blockhouse Island—taking you on an
excursion of the eastern end the islands.
Fulford
Place is an eclectic and elegant mansion, built at the turn-of-the-century
for Senator George T. Fulford. The Brockville Railway Tunnel
runs beneath the city to the Waterfront. The Brockville
Museum, with outstanding photographs and interesting
artifacts, is a great way to get a glimpse
of
the city’s past. Historic walking tours feature Ghost Walks
every Friday evening.
Whatever the season, Brockville has delicious dining, incredible golf, antiques and artists, excellent theatre, diverse shopping, and an old world atmosphere that will enchant you and bring you back—again and again.
